PREAMBLE: Unclued entries, in the order in which they appear, refer to the thematic Form and Attraction respectively (both 3,6) Wordplay in all clues yields an extra letter not required for the answer. These sequentially spell out an alternative term for the Form (5,6,2,10) and its creator (5,8) which should help to complete the unclued entries
Thematic content comprising a central figure and a famous quintet should be highlighted/identified in the completed grid, each term appearing in contiguous cells, and all except one in straight lines. Lengths (in the order of appearance) are 7,6,4,6,6,5 (total 33 cells)
Chambers 2016 is the recommended reference. Clues which return uncommon words as answers are given in italics
