The Clue was “An exclamation some make ruefully? Quiet the reverse! (6)”. The Answer was “EUREKA”. This is a “Reverse Hidden word” clue. The letters are hidden in mAKE RUE<-fully. It’s a semi &Lit clue and the entire clue when read together also provides the definition.

Once again, well done to each of you who not only solved it but also annotated it correctly in our blog post. Now, Can you solve THIS clue?

Can you solve this clue? If you got the answer, leave a comment in the blog. If you wish to know more about our book, please check out https://www.1across.org/book/cc2/ or BUY IT NOW at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XVRYYXT
