Ramki Krishnan was our host and here’s his summary of the results.

We had only 21 clues submitted – looks like it was quite tough to clue!
Def was clued most commonly as “Ring” (but with some nice deceptions in the surface), followed by “echo” and “resonate”

5th place to Sowmya Ramkumar (13 points)

Ring for fresh beer offered to minister and judge (11)

4th place to Thejaswi Udupa who says why art should be respected (21 points)

Revere art, be creative, have a prolonged effect

3rd place to Arjun Mukerjee for a sn(e)aky clue: (22 points)

Ring of vertebrae formed after rattlesnake’s head touches the tail (11)

2nd place to Textrous who is hunting grizzlies (24 points)

Go back close to cave to capture wild bear’s echo (11)

And the runaway winner with 45 points is Satyen – lovely surface story which could have been in of his case files!
