We had 31 clues and 37 voters. Lowdowncryptic (Larry) was our host and here’s his summary of the results. (Thanks for staying up late to wrap this up – SR).

The results are very appropriate for the word SECOND. First of all, we have two identical clues near the top of the standings. Second, our top two clues are very similar to each other, the only difference being that the champion is about a runner-up and the runner-up is about a champion!

In first place with 34 points is Saurabh Upadhyay:

Oddly, she’s crowned the runner-up (6)

In SECOND with 32 points is Ganesh Raman:

Oddly, she’s crowned champion

Third place (27 points) goes to Samit Kallianpur, with a different approach:

A couple of times, i left decision-making to a subordinate (6)

And sharing fourth place (25 points) are N Anantakrishnan and Tulika Das, with the identical clue:

Succeeding in adverse conditions (6)

Here’s the link to the full results

Thanks to everyone and over to you, Saurabh!

SR: Congrats Saurabh – Your clue is now in our HALL OF FAME.
