NOTE FROM THE SETTER:LVandherdad This grid is a dedication to my father who passed away peacefully on 30th of August.

He not only taught us the values of life, he himself followed all the rituals & customs properly & dedicatedly. He was so friendly with all & helped people in his own way. He was a senior lawyer who never took fees from poor clients.

He was such a great person. I learnt solving crosswords from him. He used to call me over phone and ask for solutions for tough clues.

I created my pseudonym using 1st 2 letters from my mom’s name, dad’s name & 1st from mine . He will live till SARAL lives- SAradha RAmasami Lakshmi .

We still can’t believe that he left us. We miss him so much. My 1st grid for Col’s blog was a dedication with words related to his profession.
