Happy New Year to all our readers. 1ACross is happy to kick off a brand new puzzling season with “Letters”, from “The Oracle“, exclusively for our solvers.

Answers can be submitted by anyone who wishes to participate, on or before EOD 15th January 2020.. All those who submit entries have a chance to enter our new leader board for 2020.

Annotations for the puzzle will be discussed at 1ACross on Thursday, January 16, 2020.

NOTE FROM THE ORACLE 

Some time back, a certain correspondent who was miffed with me over something forbade me to write lettters.

So, I wrote a missive in Morse, following the instruction to the letter.

No, this puzzle doesn’t use Morse code, but in some cells, you will have to enter something other than letters. Some of these entries double as letters too for the checking words.

Take care and remember to be vigilant round the clock – you might just end up getting perfect vision and see something. Letters know what you see by answering the questions..
