Congrats to “Karthik Balagopal” who was the winner of the “Manama Memoirs” crossword contest that we had done exclusively for Gulf Weekly readers. The contest had a good response with 29 submissions from across the world.

Karthik was presented with a personalized copy of “Cryptic Crossroads Volume 2” during our  cryptic crossword workshop “Cracking Cryptics”, held at Capital Knowledge, in the Bahrain Financial Harbor on 1st November 2019.

The “Cracking Cryptics” workshop was well attended and the participants from different backgrounds enjoyed learning the nuances of cryptic clues and how to solve them,
