1ACross is happy to present “Metamorphosis 913”,  from “Agrippa”, exclusively for our solvers. Please read the instructions in the file very carefully. This is a very unusual and challenging grid and it is tough to decipher at first – but Agrippa has certainly put the “Meta” in “Metamorphosis” and I thoroughly enjoyed discovering the many layers of hidden Easter Eggs in it.

The online interactive version can be completed and submitted by anyone who wishes to participate, on or before EOD 25th September 2019.. All those who submit entries have a chance to enter our leader board for 2019.

Annotations for the puzzle will be discussed at 1ACross on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

    59 d is left unclued, But the word can not be found since 54a is also un-clued. While the 11 un-clued 2 letter words reveal themselves, this 3 letter does not reveal the first letter. But as per Post Solve Instructions it should reveal itself! Is it an oversight or am I missing something?

      Renga,

      That is intentional. There is a dependency/loop there. You will have to break the loop while solving for 54a.

    Yes. There is a loop/dependency there. You cannot solve 54a without 59d and you do not get 59d without solving 54a. That is intentional. You will have to treat that single intersection letter character as a variable and then solve.
