1ACross is happy to present “Have a Ball”, the latest offering from “The Oracle“, exclusively for our readers. Here’s his message to the solvers..

Some of you might have got addicted over the last few weeks to watching a quarter of a century of guys chase a ball around. A couple of them carry a flag apiece and one is a card-carrying member too. Your eyes might have got a little blurry—sitting up late at night, losing sleep or watching fast action—and need rest. Here’s a soother to get you all prepped up for the final match, right here!

The Oracle had recently trapped a deaf cat in a blind alley. It had escaped Schrodinger’s imaginary box and was in two minds. But TO managed to get the result of the final match from Felis achilles.

Sometimes when faced with a dilemma, one may have to choose which path to take to kick the ball into the net. Do not forget to congratulate the winner with catcalls! And remember you heard the news first on 1Across, well before any news channel …

The online interactive version can be completed and submitted by anyone who wishes to participate, on or before EOD 21st July 2018.. In addition, please send us a screenshot of the completed grid to us by email at 1acrossgp@gmail.com All those who submit entries have a chance to enter our leaderboard for 2018.
