Results of the contest

We had 26 clues and 29 voters.
Two of the setters did not vote.

Most of the clues used the FILE* inside FACT wordplay.

Here are the results:

Tied for 5th place with 18 points each:

At 4th place with 19 points is Lowdowncryptic’s clue about the woes of renovation

At 3rd place (22 points) is Binay Patra with

Adman_i is 2nd, with 25 points for his story about a
Shady cafe with filth, abruptly demolished for renovations (8)

And at 1st place (again!) with 28 points is Satyen Nabar with
