This week’s contest was hosted by Samit Kallianpur, and here’s his summary of the results.

Thanks to all for taking part in this contest. There were some great clues! We had 24 entries this week, and 27 people voted. One setter did not vote. Special thanks to Ashish Vengsarkar, Kaustav Dutta, Madhup Tewari, and Vma Nair for their votes.

In 1st place, with 35 points, we have doc Satyen Nabar’s lovely substitution clue: “Raise money for a little boy in trouble”

In 2nd place is Textrous, with 28 points for a neat anagram/container: “To care for new home takes time, right?”

In 3rd place with 26 points is Viraj Divecha’s smooth telescopic: “Found in Palermo, the rarest bear”

In 4th spot is Mona Sogal, with 24 points for a nice substitution: “Parent trouble after boy is married”

In 5th place is Veera Raghavan, with 15 points for a fine anagram/container: “Home in a mess without touch of the right parent”

Honourable mentions to N Anantakrishnan, Sowmya Ramkumar, Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, ALP, Ramki Krishnan and Abhay Phadnis.
