Answers can be submitted by anyone who wishes to participate, on or before EOD 12th February 2020. All those who submit entries have a chance to enter our new leader board for 2020.

Annotations for the puzzle will be discussed at 1ACross on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Happy solving.

NOTE FROM GUSSALUFZ  One clue (23a) is missing, but you should be able to find it by reading between lines. Clues for 1d, 24d, 21d, 19d, 22d, 10d, and 26d have been shuffled into a table at the start of the Down clues. You can reshuffle them, and when you get them in the left-to-right order listed here, you will know it. The total number of possible ways to shuffle seven clues (5,040) might be a bit too high, so, instead of trying randomly, look for hints to piece together. Also, solving the other clues would help.

Here’s the link to the Interactive Version. If you need it, you can get a PDF, by opening the grid and then choosing File, Print and Print to PDF

  1. Hey, I got short changed for my answer of the 2 ways in which clues are given. Instead of the lengthy first roman letters and greek symbols in order, yadda-yadda, I just answered “Latin and Greek” 🙂
