Puzzle – Double Dare

Stats:  Our game post registered  a record number  of 1,330 visits. Though most of these were casual visitors 41 brave people did click through and attempted the puzzle. Of these, only 17 people managed to complete and submit it.

The grid had 48 clues and each correct answer was awarded 1 point. We had also asked 4 questions in the submission screen, and we awarded 5 points for each correct answer. Here is the summary of the scores received by all those who submitted (in alphabetical order).

There was a “star”k difference between the Hall of famers and those who missed by a point. Most people who missed by one point had put in “SANK” for “SUNK”.

As you can see, only a few who submitted managed to get the full score of 68 and get an entry into our hall of fame. They are..

Hall of Fame entrants

And, the winner of this puzzle, who not only managed to get all the answers correct and but was also the earliest to submit it, in record time, is “Vasant”, who also won our previous puzzle.

Winner

Congrats Vasant and to all our  HoF entrants.

Once again, special  thanks to author Debbie Manber Kupfer for sponsoring an autographed copy of her book of puzzles “Paws4Logic” as the prize. An E-book with a special note from the author will soon be on its way to you Vasant.

We received excellent feedback from many who managed to crack this puzzle. Hope all of you also enjoyed it. Do comment / write to us with your feedback.
