The 1ACross clue writing contests (1ACCWC) have been hosted at 1ACross from 3rd August 2014. It was hosted in the blog in the period between 27th November 2016 and 8th Septermber 2017 and exclusively in the Facebook group during the other weeks.
In January 2022, a new system has been developed by Ananth Srinivasan which has helped us automate the process with respect to collating the clues and voting which used to be done mostly manually and using google forms. This has greatly simplified the process of hosting the contest.
We have hence moved the 1ACCWC back to the blog thus allowing more of our followers / subscribers / members across social media to participate.
For 2022, we will also be maintaining an on-going leaderboard awarding points from 10-1 for the Top 10 winners in each contest.
